I would say that depends on which lens you have readily available to you. I am a Canon guy, some like Nikon, nobody likes Konica, they don't even make cameras anymore .

I have been told (have not confirmed) that once you have a nikon adapter ring, you can use practically any nikon lens, also that the Nikon lenses help the colors "pop" more.
