canon mark ii with a nikorr lens (i hear the focus) ISSUE

Where is your mic ?

If it's the built-in on-camera mics, well you can't expect much from these. Mics are best placed close to your subject ( 2 feet or less ), but if you have to use an on camera mic then something as basic as an Audio Technica AT875R mic would be a big upgrade to the built-in mics.

Still surprise me the noise. Even if i buy a Rode videomicpro im worried i might still hear the sound of the focus ring when i focus.

On the 60d i never had this issue before.
It suprises me that it does this with the 5d mark ii.

Any thoughts on that?

(i verified if my fingers were or were not on the built-in mic of the camera. No, they were on the focus ring of the nikkor only.)
