Kipon works only with EF lens and it doesn't work with all EF-S and cropped lenses. Only full frame lensesFYI - it appears the Kipon EOS adaptor will not work with the Canon Tokina 11-16mm lens.
I got one of these and it works fine. I am also getting the Birger as soon as it ships.

Can you set the f stop on a Canon camera, take the lens off, and then put in on the AF100 with this adapter, or will it open up all the way automatically once I take it off the Canon camera?
We are going with this adapter too, until the Birger is available.
Yes you can do that but you have to hold down the depth of field preview down while you remove the lens from the camera. If the lens is removed from the canon body while the lens is stoped down (DOF preview being held in) it will remain stopped down when you mount it to the AF100 with a cheap adapter.
When looking at the lens on the 7D it's on the right side of the lens, on the body.
