Canon lens for HPX cameras

[morgster]

Looking at upgrading my lens to CanonHJ17ex7.6B-IRSE. Anyone know the difference between the IRSE and IASE. I am going to be shooting with this lens on my HPX500 and HPX2000... The HPX3000 has the IASE as a CAC lens, but can't find the IRSE specs... is it basically the same lens?

Canon has a site for all the lenses they offer and in there is a description of all the acronyms.

The HJ17ex7.6B is an actual HD lens with HD engineering / glass so it does not need CAC. I use it with an HPX500. It produces imagery that is crisp, clear and beautiful.

Having seen the HPX images from Mark's Canon lens, I completely agree.
