I was looking at getting a LCD screen protector for my 5D, but upon googling, people were suggesting the cameras already have a plastic protector built into the LCD, one that is easy to replace (and cheap), which negates the need for a 3rd party solution.
Sorry to be anal but can anyone just confirm this as true or not please. I feel uneasy having the screen 'naked' as it were, but if it turns out it's really protected already then I'll be happy.
I think coming from a Nikon background, where the screen has a big plastic cover over it, I'm a little jumpy heh.
