Looking to do a wedding video in a couple of weeks, and I will be flying my 60D on a GC 4000HD.
I know alot of work is done in post to provide that extra sharp look, but I want to know which of these lenses will give me the best raw performance in the 24-35mm range. I will be renting not buying however, I only get one shot at this and I would really like to blow this client away with the overall visual quality. Which one of these do you guys think will work best with what I will be using. Thanks:cheesy:

Yeah i agree with the Zeiss Cp.2 lenses, and I have seen a lot of them on rental websites for around $175 a week, which is not a bad price at all.

if you don't need the "cine" form factor, the standard ZF/ZE zeiss lenses are exactly the same glass as the CP.2 lenses

Maybe I don't have all the details. Are you planning on shooting an entire wedding on a Glidecam and a single prime lens?
It gets very disruptive having a Glidecam operator moving in and out trying to frame shots with a prime lens.
Do you have a set of sticks? If it were me I would forget about the manual focus CP.2 prime and get two auto focus capable zooms which would cover all the focal lengths you will need to shoot a wedding. Honestly having shots in focus is going to impress your clients more than renting a Zeiss prime.

All the Best!

i've only shot one wedding but i would never cope with primes unless i had a team or some very good planning. Stuff is intense

I agree with Martin. If anything, I'd go with constant zooms like L, but if you have tons of staff and time with locations and shots planned out, then it should be ok.
