does anybody has this lens and what are youre experiences, i'm planning to buy it.
I buy this one over the fujinon because of the extender. is this a "breathing" lens?

honestly its much of a muchness..... the 21 x canon is giving you the extra. TBH these CAC lenses are great, much better than I imagined. IMO get whats cheap and rent for the higher end. (By higher end I mean the Fujinon Super Cine primes or the $80k HAe12x__ zoom lense (use in return of the sith btw)
 
I have this lens...great lens.
But a little breath...after all the price doesnt allow breathless.
I am using for sports, docs, and some advertising.
I'm glad with it.
I hope you like.
Have a insane menu and other features that FUJI doesnt.

The menu on the hand grip scares the bejeesus out of me on this lens. I haven't even started with it though the canon rep tells me that I'll be amazed by what the camera control can do.

btw the only difference between the cac lens and the regular canon lens is they disable the electronic monitoring of focal length (basically lens position) and replace it with an analogue version that the 500 then reads for CAC.

They just swap out the electronics on the lens.

Ours had the wrong sticker on it (i think it was the E designation of the model when it should have been the D, or the reverse) Canon sent us a replacement sticker.
