I'm selling a used Canon J8x6B4 lens with a 2x Extender. (Ampex CVR/CVC) It's a hell of a lens and has served me well for the last couple of years but I'm using it less these days due to my other lens options. Super wide shots, plus with the ability to use the extender to get some decent range.
This is a great lens for the HPX500 or other 2/3" broadcast cameras. While it's a SD lens, it's top of the line glass and originally retailed for tens of thousands. When using it wide open with the 2x extender the shots would get a little soft (as all 2x extenders do) but on the wide end it was really very sharp with little distortion.
As you can see from the high resolution pics, the lens has some scuff marks (exactly as I'd received it). The optics are quite clean and the gears, motors are quiet and in great shape.
Judge for yourself!!
All of the interviews (except for one) from this video were shot with this lens (and a good deal of the B Roll as well, basically anything not on a jib or steadicam system).

It has always been taken care of and lived in a hardshell case when not in the camera.
Price includes the lens, the back cap, the lens hood but no front cap (I didn't receive one when I got it). I also got a new UV filter for the lens as well.
Price: $2,500 OBO plus shipping from Palmer, AK (Zip code 99645). I'll box the lens myself and ship it UPS 2nd day air, insured for the amount. Once you commit to buy I'll run down to the UPS store and get an estimated shipping cost. Payment will be via paypal (Payment must clear before I ship the lens).
