The HJ8x5.5B KLL-SC is from Canon's EC (Electronic Cinema) range which are the highest quality lenses that Canon manufacture for video cameras.
It is quite fast at T2.1 and exhibits almost no perceptable breathing and minimal ramping.
The optics resolve incredible detail, and the build quality is precise and solid.
The zoom range goes from a very wide 5.5mm to 44mm.
This particular model lens is designed by Canon to render skin tones beautifully - and it does!
This is very high quality glass and a great match for any 2/3" camera up to the top of the line Varicam.
It also performs wonderfully on the RED Digital Cinema camera with a RED B4 adaptor.
This lens comes with front and rear lens caps, custom case.
