Bought this camera 7 months ago from the united states. It had been lost in storage for many years and was in a unused condition. I have only put 8 tapes through it, and half of them were off loaded via tape decks so I'd estimate there are only 14 hours on the heads. The camera runs great, with only a few scratches here and there on the body from my use, but the optics are perfect. I taped a piece of clear plastic with 16:9 guides drawn on it for my reference but it can be removed no problem.
