Canon GL1 into DVX100b

Im considering buying a 100b

I have a Canon GL1 and want to use the 100b/GL1 combo on wedding shoots.

Could I get a closer "match" in video, by transferring the Canon GL1 footage into the 100b, and using the cinelook processing and then recapture the footage?

:dankk2: for any inputs.

NO, the cine look presets are only for camera mode.

guess I can scratch that idea huh?:(

Im just trying my best to justify getting a DVX100b over the more expensive Canon A1...since I really dont need HD at this time.

Thanks for your input.

I shot a show once with a DVX as the main camera shooting 24p and a GL1 was used for some additional interviews. The GL1 footage matched in nicely, actually, without doing any pulldown or post effects. Just make sure you use the GL1 in 'FRAME' mode to look more like 24p.

Got it...will do.

Im leaning more toward the DVX100b instead of the Canon A1. Just waiting for the price to drop way down. If it doesnt drop significantly, I will go with the Canon A1.

Thanks for the reply,
Jeff
