Hi everyone, my Canon FL 35mm f/2.5 came in on Friday and while I haven't been able to do any real testing or photography with it yet, I took a couple of snapshots this morning on my way to grab coffee. Overall, sharpness is quite good, even at 2.5, very good from 4-8, color is very nice and natural and I like the way it renders out of focus areas, all in all, considering how cheaply you can get it, I'd give it a thumbs up if you don't need the speed of the F/2 (which is an all around better lens, no question, but much more expensive given that you can find these FLs for $10-20) - I think it will get you there. Again, these were just photos I took on the way to get coffee, and one looking out my balcony, shot at infinity, just for kicks...these aren't particularly artistic at all, just wanted to get a feel for the lens.

Everything shot at ISO 100, various apertures and shutter speeds, little bits of minor tweaking in photoshop for the web, but just a little.
