Canon FD Mount adapter

[Jim Brennan]

Sorry guys, couldn't do a search for an FD mount adapter because it's too short.

I have access to some Canon FD lenses that I was hoping to play with until I can get some scratch together for some cinema lenses. They are all manual so i am not concerned with auto features. I am just looking for a decent adapter. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

I have a set of FD lenses and I say Novoflex, without doubts (german quality). Avoid Cecio7 on eBay (all alluminum, also on FD side) because the flange lenght is not accurate and some lenses (35mm f2, for exmple) don't focus infinity. Cheap chinese adapters work also, better than Cecio 7

Is THIS the one you are referring to? It got good reviews.

Also, although I am sure this is well-covered territory, using these lenses will allow me to utilize the entire sensor, correct?

Yes, it is. You can find it in Germany on eBay for less

Yes, it covers all sensor because you use a full frame lens
