Canon EF adapter for GX8

[DigitalBard]

Has anyone used an electronic EF to M43 adapter on a GX8? I pre-ordered a GH5 and I'm considering selling my T3i and getting a GX8 as a second camera.

I know I can use an adapter on the GH5 with all my Canon lenses, but I'm wondering if I can do it on the GX8.

You can use any electronic adapter with any MFT camera. The question is whether the particular model you're using will work without any issues (cheap vs. expensive). It's best to e-mail the company and ask.

Something like a Metabones smart adapter will probably work with many cameras without any issues:

SpeedBoosters are another conversation.

Thanks. A friend of mine recently got a GX8 and I ordered the Metabones XL for use with my pre-ordered GH5. I'll try it on his GX8 when it gets here.
