Was used strictly for video, now its the time to upgrade to the 5D mark ii. everything works in video mode, super super. Problem is in photo mode it wont release shutter when clicking the button, therefore not taking pictures. didnt bother sending for warranty for we use it for video, even though it releases shutter and takes stills in video mode. get it send it in if you want the photo, have a blank warranty card and its still under warranty. make me an offer, cosmetically its A+.

sorry fellas, i made it sound like there was a problem with the shutter or what not. there is NONE. it is a problem with the battery contacts indicated as error 40, which in regards to i contacted canon and was told it is a fix covered by the warranty (which i have and may prove before sending it out). it works with no problems with a battery grip therefore confirming it is a problem caused by the battery contacts (battery grip uses alternative contacts). i will leave this here for a few more dys (one or two) and try to sell it to avoid the hassle of me sending it out. however if the offers are low, i will THEN send it out and go through the wait which i really dont want to do. thanks.
