Canon 75-300mm VS Tamron 28-300mm (canon is pinching and has artifacts why??)

So I was comparing these lenses at full zoom and it seems even tho they are both 300mm, the canon seems to get closer to the subject than the tamron lens does. The one bad thing is it seemed when I took these pictures with a 4500K bulbs on white background the canon lens shows blue hue around the letters and the tamron does not.I also noticed that the canon seems to pinch the image over 250mm, where as the tamron does not. Also this is the old tamron the 185D version from 1999. why is this happening.Canon 75-300mm f/4-5.6 = the image on the rightTamron 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 = the image on the left

Are you sure you don't have the switched around? The picture on the right IMG_0198.jpg seems much more blue around the lettering.

For consumer lenses, expected some variance from one lens to the next, even more so if they're used. You could buy two of the same lens, and one stinks and the other shines.

You are right I fixed it.The tamron lens doesn't seem to get as close from a distance shot but it's minimal focus distance is way better, also the auto focus is way better on the tamron. The canon lens gets really close and it's also a faster lens which is good.
