Canon 6D Full Frame

Anyone have a list of prime lenses that would fill out a 6D camera bag nicely and more cost-effectively than buying zoom lenses? Is there a link you can point me to?
Rokinon 24 1.4
Rokinon 35 1.4
Sigma 50 1.4
Rokinon 85 1.4
Canon 135 2L

Ultimate setup right there!

Nikon ai/ai-s, pentax takumar (best price performance and build), anything with an M42 mount, the list goes on...

Guys, a big part of my question about filling out a bag with full-frame lenses is "cost-effective".

I am seriously thinking about going full frame but I don't want my wife to kill me!

For video - what kind? Stills? What kind? What range do you use most? Criteria? (size, weight.)

I have a Mamiya 645AF lens, a 55-110 zoom that I still have hanging around after I sold the camera. It is a big, high quality, solid metal, manual lens with long throw for both focus and zoom. The non-auto focus version (which you obviously don't need) is $200 on eBay. There is also a $40, 645 to EOS EF adapter on Amazon.

Add a manual 45 mm 645 prime for $50, etc. Now that is a bit off-beat, but gives you an idea of possibilities.

Or a Canon FD 28 mm, 35 mm, 50 mm, 85 mm with adapter. The only lens over $100, depending on speed, is the 85 mm.

Maybe start a thread, or look for older ones on FF? This is not unique to 6D - same questions for 5DII with a **lot** of history.

Good luck!
Michael

In that case go for the takumars. I got the Leicas and she came after me with a knife!

You can't adapt FD to EF without a crappy glass adapter, do you want an even softer image?

There's a good lens thread @ cinema5D
