Seeing some strobing/cadence issues at around :06 and throughout the piece. I love where ML is going with raw, but they have to get this sorted out.

Ahh ok, you're running the raw-rec module from the 12 of May, that one is broken. I'm running the 13th, no major issues. Todays build sounds even better.

Looks overprocessed to me and unnatural in many shots. But the sharpness and detail is there. If I think in the way of how I develop stills from my 5D3 it's just so vastly different.

Filippo, thanks for posting. I have question. As a test of the RAW editing capabilities, could you grade this clip with the shadows lifted quite a bit more? Like the scenes in the park where the blue sky is prominent, I would like to see if the shadow information is there for less black crushing around the trees. Just a thought, thanks.

The dng files are 14 bit Raw.
For sure you can lift the the shadows like in a still photographic frame.

Thanks for your reply. Good to know. If it is not too much trouble, would you re-grade your clip or just a part to be able to see how much the shadows could be lifted? I think a lot of us are wondering just how much the RAW update gives you visually in terms of freedom in post. No worries if you do not have the time or interest! Thanks.

I really don't have time to do this, but if you know the photographic RAW of the 5D3, it's pratically the same.
