Canon 5d mark1 Any good???

Some one is seeling me the canon 5dmk 1 with canon 24-70mm L 2.8 and canon 85mm f1.8 for $1200usd...
but the camera doesn't look new, it look like it was used a lot, but its is way cheaper, and my main focus is video, so i would buy it just for the lens and its a nice camera ...at least i think...
I am going to but the 60d for video, and i wanted to but the 24-70mm L 2.8 lens to use on the 60d but he tells me that he cant sell the lens only , if i want to buy i have to take the full package..
So what you guys think i should do??? i can afford to buy the 5d mk1 with the 2 lens and then buy a new 60d, cause 1200usd its the price of the "L" lens , and getting a 5d mk 1 and the 85mm 1.8 at that price would be really nice....
what you guys think about the 5dmk1 ???its nice for video?? for stills ??? cause i think i would be good to have one camera for photos and other for the video stuff..
you guys think i should buy it?
 
It doesn't shoot video, but its the best digital still camera ever made IMO. It just has magic.
 
The 5D has been my main camera for about 6 years. One of the best dslr's made. The glass is fantastic too. Take it and use it as a still camera. I bought a MkII two weeks ago and will only use it as a still camera. I have real cameras that serve as better video capture devices.
 
The 5D takes wonderful stills but if your looking exclusively for video, you best walk away from this deal because it has none at all. But again, its a beautiful camera thats for sure!

If the lenses are in good shape it might be worth it for them alone. you could still sell the 5D body and recover part of the investment if you don't need it for stills

A five year old camera, looks like it was used a lot, but its is way cheaper.......

What does that tell you?
 
For still photography, I prefer 5d over any cameras in the market today. Though it's aged, it produces images like no other.
Anyways, who's the insane person selling you that whole setup for $1200? It should be 2x more than that plus a few hundred dollars.
 
i did buy the camera today, it wasn't the 24-70mm it was the 24-105mm L f/4. IS USM....
but i think those lens are good too, and expensive, and i tried and took a few shots with it and i saw some tine little black marks on the pictures(2 marks), i think the sensor its dirty or something like that, but after all i think i made a good business , i bought the canon 5d mk1 ,canon 85mm f/1.8, canon EF 24-105mm L f/4 IS USM, for $1000usd.
