Canon 5D Mark III - Handling of spanned clips

Hi,

I was looking to pick up a 5D Mark III soon and I`m wondering how Premiere CS6 handles the restitching of spanned clips. I usually use the Media Browser when importing footage. Does MB handle the stitching process automatically?
