Canon 5D Mark II Tested at 2300 m Above Sea Level.

Beautiful images! What an amazing part of the world, makes me want to be there. On a technical note: I saw some glitches, is it Vimeo compression or did you do some 30-24 conversion? (BTW was it shot in 30, 24, 25?). Care to share what lenses you are using? Also, when you do finally shoot the documentary, avoid people using horizontal striped shirts! I was just reading the other day on reduser.net someone commenting (I think it was Jim himself), how much horizontal aliasing was worse than vertical on the 5D due to the pattern of the resampling and line skipping. He also made a comment as to how this information should actually be in the 5D Manual, so vital it can be. It's an irony, but still, usefull advice. Anyhow, congratulations, and beautiful colors.

Hey man thank you for the good words! Yeah the glitches are from the Vimeo compression! a very weird thing.

The footage was shot at 30fps, the new firmware wasn't available back when I shot this footage.
The guy with striped shirt was the location coordinator for the project .... So I just shot him while he was walking around just to include so motion within the frame, and thank you for the tip.

I only had two lenses when I was scouting the location, 70-200 2.8, and a 24-105 4.0

The actually shooting for the Doc should start this summer hopefully...
