Canon 5D cutting off and deleting last clip

I work for the digital video department of a company and lately we've had a reoccurring problem in which the camera will turn itself off during recording and that clip will be deleted. Has anyone else experienced this?

We use SanDisk Extreme CF Cards, 60MB/s, 32GB.

We were using third party batteries. Since the power cuts off, I'm wondering if this is the likely culprit. This has been an ongoing issue for a few months, occurring 5 times so far with four different shooters, which rules out user error. Wondering if there's a reason third party batteries are so much cheaper than Canon's... We had a third party charger spark a while back, so this is now my main suspect. Has anyone else experienced this?

Is the camera over heating?
DLSRs are known to do that,
but I haven't had problems with my 5D2 yet... but I don't use the video mode much.

What brand are those batteries?

What is the camera setup?

Yeah. I'd lay odds on the Battery. I bought extras, but went the OEM route. Glad I did hearing this! If it cuts the power off, it cannot complete the write function, therefore it is as if nothing ever happened/was recorded.

Then you're very unlucky, 98% faux batteries work brilliant. I assume you know about the overheat issues. If you work professionally in a studio 1 camera body is not enough, 5dmk2 overheats within 5 min. ALWAYS cut live-view, your camera burns up. Also introducing FPN at a much earlier stage than actual time of death, so yeah... get more bodies.
