Canon 1DX Mark III

I'd say they're just as good, which matches what he said: that it's difficult to find something better.
Personally I still shoot cDNG because it's sharper, but the super high bitrate is definitely an issue.

What would make braw better than red or arri, or even canon raw?

That's not quite what I'm saying. I said I don't know of a codec that is better than braw, not that braw is better than everything else. But:

raw, 12bit, various compression ratios, various compression schemes (fixed rate, fixed 'quality'). Plus it's fast/efficient.

RED offers the various rates. ARRI and Canon are fixed rate, if I'm up to date. That the rate changes with different resolutions is natural and doesn't count.

I would argue that you could count media into the codec as well, which only makes braw look even more flexible, since there are no restrictions.

Anyway... I care very little about brand pissing contests and I was only making that remark in relation to someone wanting to get away from braw.

EDIT: I actually forgot to mention that braw can be trimmed too. That's a really nice feature that allows you to shoot generously, do a round of selects and rough cuts and then trim your project to just that media, while keeping it braw. That can obviously save a lot of space. With this in mind, I'm almost ready to change my opinion and DO state that it's better than the rest. Still got no horse in the race though....
