Canon 1Ds Mark III vs. Canon 5D Mark II

What are the differences between these two cameras? They seem to both have 21.1 MegaPixels, same size sensor, ect. The only thing I've noticed that is obviously different is the lack of video on the 1Ds.

According to Canon, the sensor is basically the same except the 5DII will be cleaner at higher ISOs. The 1DsIII however has a professional body and faster frame rate. It's just a more robust package all around. That being said, anyone would have to be cracked or on crack to buy a new 1DsIII at this stage of the game. The upcoming 1DsIV will be another story altogether.

1d have sensor like 4 perf frame ,7d have 3 perforation frame.1D is basically like super 35mm frame and 7d is 35mm frame.5d is larger than both.
Ah , 1ds have sensor like 5d.

Texas Jones, I don't know what point you're trying to make. The OP already acknowledged hat the 1Ds III doesn't do video, so video wasn't within the parameters of his question. The 1Ds has the same sensor as the 5D Mark II, end of story.

Relax, man. I though you guys were talking about the 1d MkIV. And I wasn't intending to berate anyone. It was a mistake, ok? My infinite apologies!
