Canon 1D C to get 120fps in 720p?

I wonder if they've had this as a planned upgrade all along, and are just waiting for the right time to announce it. If so, perhaps the BMCC Production Camera's announcement is exactly what it will take for Canon to unleash more from the 1DC. I'm sure they learned a thing or two from the 5dmkII (ie trickling new features through firmware updates), so if the potential is there hopefully Canon will leverage it soon.

I know for many people 720p120 might seem trivial, but as an action sports shooter it is certainly an extremely useful feature for me.
