Canon 1D C 25p firmware delay explained

Got an official word yesterday from Canon Asia Pacific HQ, the existing 25p firmware (Version 1.1.9) has serious defect, their word is "image tearing can sometimes occur during recording" and they are currently working on an improved version which is likely to be announced at the end of May.

Personally I think Canon should just stick to deactivating features and leave the release of new feature to the ML guys...
