Cannot import P2 into FCP (help)

I just got my package - camera plus 8G cards plus P2 Store. I'm trying to import P2 into FCP on my G4 laptop. Trying both from directly from card and from P2 Store. I keep getting this message:

"One or more P2 Clips failed to import. Probable incomplete or corrupt clips"

Has anyone else encountered this? What am I doing wrong?

Can you detail your import process?

version you may need 5.0.4
shooting 24p or 24pn (native makes a difference)

I had the same problem today. Try updating to FCP 5.0.4 That cleared everything up for me.

Yep, definitely upgrade to 5.0.4 and it should solve that problem.
