Cannot capture in FCP 6 ??

Well that never happened to me before with any camera. I am not able to capture the HDV footage i shot today with a Sony HVR-V1E... I already captured HDV from the canon XH-A1 and it worked. I just don´t seem to be able to capture with the Sony?? What am i doing wrong?

I set VCR to "HDV" and iLink Conv. to "OFF" like it´s written in the manual.
Final Cut is set to HDV 1080i50 (shooting Pal). I hope you guys can help.

Well i never before used the V1. How can i be sure, there is even a connection with the firewire? What should i see on the LCD screen of the V1, when there is a connection to the mac?

When in VCR mode and connected to the mac with firewire: I just see the battery time, the timcode and "HDV1080i" in the upper left corner just under the batterytime. Is this right?
