Cannot access BLACK BALANCE on FS700

Why is the Black Balance setting grayed out? Some overall setting I need to change first? I have two dead pixels and Sony advised me to reset the black balance 5 times.

I think you have to be in normal HD mode, not RAW.

Let it warm up a bit too before doing it. It does appear to work.

I believe you also need to have a Sony lens attached to the camera. A non-autofocus lens will not work with the Black Balance setting.

I think i did it with a manual lens from memory (or an A mount via LA-EA2) but not a normal amount lens for sure.

But that's another good option if it didn't work

I'm pretty sure I've done it with a Metabones speed booster attached (I remember having to cover the cap as it leaks light).

EDIT: By that I mean I had the speed booster body cap on and that leaked light through it, rather than the mount itself leaking light!
