...on an unhacked GH1! I know it's no longer sexy now that the hacked GH2 is what everyone wants to see, but the short is about an attraction between two women, so give it a chance! I finished this film a year ago, and it's finally finished its run at festivals, where it picked up some awards. Quite a few of the "old-guard" here at DVXUser have seen it, but now it's online for everyone to see. Enjoy! And feel free to ask any questions about camera settings, lenses, lighting, etc.

nice. Would love to hear more about the production, lenses, etc- but mostly the audio. Sounds great, what equipment was used for that?

Everything was recorded via a boom mic. We didn't use any lavaliers. If I remember correctly, we used a Sennheiser ME-66. I didn't have the Zoom H4N recorder yet, so we ran the boom into my JVC HD250 (my camera from my job at the time) XLR inputs. I manually synced the audio in Final Cut Pro.
I used mainly old Nikon primes. A 24, 35, 50 and 85mm. I tried to stay at f2.8. I only used the 14-140mm kit lens on one wide shot in the movie. I shot on Smooth film mode with everything at minus 2, except color saturation, which was at zero.
