Hey guys, I was wondering if you can monitor the gh2 via a laptop, particularly via HDMI?

Can Adobe OnLocation do it, I seem to remember it used firewire? Any other software?

I'm a bit annoyed that the "1080P" portable monitors on ebay only actually resolve 840X480, and seem to have horrible color rendition.

THANKS!

Nope. There are, I think two laptops with hdmi in ports. They both suck as laptops from what I understand. Search and you'll find them. Really wish they'd put them in. I seem to remember in American Cinematograph magazine the guy who did the Bellflower movie, used a laptop with hdmi in. You can probably find the article online there. Great dark film by the way, made for 17k. Granted he built his own camera for the shoot and used the laptop as a monitor.
