GH3 Can you change iso during recording?

With no image stabalization or autofocus.

Right, so let's add those in if you want to charge over $1,000 for a similar lens.

Here's one that does have both of those, but minus the aperture. Granted, smaller zoom range, but starts to show what's possible. (And that's for APS-C, which are more expensive to make constant aperture than 4/3 lenses.)

well over two times the weight

Ah, you mean a real lens.

Look guys, snarkiness aside, d1rockwild made a sarcastic comment about the needs of the video shooter. I'm only saying that those needs aren't being fully met by manufacturers of hybrid systems. That sarcastic comment seems to reflect the actual attitude of equipment makers.

Now, is anyone here really opposed to having such options available?

Further to the above post.

Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Telephoto Zoom Lens : $2,499.00
Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM Telephoto Zoom Lens: $1,449.00

Both autofocus. So price difference is for IS only. And the IS lens is almost a half pound heavier.
