Can upres hvx (720P) intercut with hpx 1080p

I have existing 720P footage, shot on an HVX200.

Can I intercut HPX500 1080P footage with it?

If so, will it match up on the big screen?
 
If you are producing a 720p final output, the 1080 footage will look great with it, assuming that they are at the same frame rate. Uprezing the 720 to 1080, you will see a little bit of a loss, but nothing compared to SD being uprezed.
