can anyone tell me what would be needed to make this articulated arm work with the hvx and a 7" monitor I bought

see this arm has 1/4" female threads on both end and the hvx and the monitor have 1/4" female threads also, whats posible??

I have that arm, but I wouldn't screw it into the 1/4-20 in the camera.
You need the accessory to connect it to the tripod.
