Can the Panasonic HVX 200 shoot in BLACK and WHIte

Hey guys, Quick question for you. Can i go into the menu somewhere in the panasonic HVX 200 Camera and set it to record in Black and White. I don't wanna do it in post production, i already know how to do that.

Please lemme know asap.

No, always color. You can reduce saturation, but you can't make it completely B/W.

Well, you can shoot in black.

Simply close the iris.

Add white in post.

on a side note, if you are shooting for black and white and want to monitor that way, only connect the green cable to your monitor. this pulls out all the color. makes for better focusing as well....

what's so difficult about doing it in post? i cant imagine any NLE that wont let you apply a setting to all clips in one shot...? why fence yourself in?
