Can the Glidecam 2000 support a DVX100A + Brevis35?

Not without a vest and at least a dual arm. I have the V-8 system and I have to pretty much fly the camera and brevis without rails or any accessories just so the rig can fly. Fully loaded it comes to 22lbs (with the HVX200) and I know that just picking up the sled with the fully loaded system on there is a pain, so I can;t really see how you can even think to use the DVX +Brevis on the Glidecam without the arm.
 
i used to use the Glidecam 2000 & Smooth Shooter Vest with a DVX 100a. it was a nice fit. when i got the EX1 it was too heavy for the Glidecam 2000. i did use it a few times after adding more washers on it but it was clearly much to heavy of a camera for the rather tiny 2000. the Smooth Shooter did have enough "spring" torque to handle it though but the Glidecam was out-matched at this point.

i am guessing your overall weight of you DVX + rails/brevis would brevis would not be a good match as far as the Glidecam goes.

i had to get a new system and went with the Pilot.
