GH2 Can the GF2 or GF3 be hacked for 1080p with the GH2 hack?

Guys can the GF2 or GF3 be hacked for 1080p? I had my GH2 stolen with all the hardware and PC. I'm in the process of selling all my other electronic equipment to get funds for a GF2 or GF3 as they seem identical and cheap which is the most important factor right now.

Are people who claim 1080p on the Gf2/3 up scaling? Is there a list of hackad G cameras?

I'm confused. I have a gf2 and as far as I know it does do 1080p (even unhacked). However, like the GH1 its in a interlaced wrapper (so the PAL model does 1080 25p in a 50i wrapper) but that's easy to deal with.

The hacks increase the bitrate and quality.

But, there's till no true manual control which is the big weakness of the GF2 and the reason it isn't a GH2 replacement.

If you're on a real budget and can't afford a GH2 you might be better off with a 2nd hand GH1.

Money is the problem, I over spent on a polecam which I got for rock bottom price.

is your GF2 a newer revision? I too thought it recorded @1080i
