Can the 100p lcd be upgraded

I am wondering (but expecting not possible) if the LCD could be upgraded on the 100p to the one on the 100b, which gives you 16x9 viewing capability......

I would expect other internal circuitry would need changed as well......

You would probably need to change out the rest of the guts. Thats a change in circuitry. So you would have to change out the boards and the LCD which means you would have to change the tape mechanism and maybe even they lens. It would be cheaper to just shoot in 4:3 and put some gaff tape on the top and bottom of the screen or use the anamorphic adapter and use something like the BT-LH1700W to convert to 16:9. Or you can use that money and purchase a DVX100B that does what you want! :)

Well....I am saving for an HVX...........I think I might invest in a Varizoom 16:9 monitor......I would assume it will display correctly from my anamorphic lens.......
