FS7: Can test the Tamron 150-600 commlite adaptor

Next week I get the Tamron 150-600mm zoom from the importer. They are very kind to lend me this lens. I can use it and test it. I read a lot about this lens and this adapter but didn't find much in combination with the FS7. (maybe that is for a good reason, but that I'll have to find out.) Bought the commlite Canon FE to e-mount adapter.

The birds in my pond are building their second nest. So now I can film it in 4K from my bedroom window.

With the old primes I used center crop to get 600mm range but 4K looks much better on my 4K screen, I hope this lens can do the job.

Any tips/requests for testing this lens/adapter combi?

Be careful when shooting against the sun,the Commlite adaptor flares horribly. Like washing out the top corner of the image where the sun is hitting. I quickly forked out for a Metabones adaptor, as the internal is much better coated

I'm very interested in your test of this 150-600mm Tamron lens; any chance of trying it on Speed Booster?

Hi Yoak,

Thanks, it is raining here all day, didn't get the chance to test yet.

Found this: Yes the Commlite does have some reflections issues. Metabones has it too, but the Commlite is worse.

See if the combi Tamron Commlite has this problem too.

And found this:
Guillaume Juin • a year agoI choose commlite over metabones because of all those reasons. and for the reflection problem, i flocked the inside with edmund optics tissue. works great.

Now find out where to buy edmund optics tissue.

Wow that is a nice site, will spend some time than money there. As long as Vantablack as a spray isn't for sale yet.

I have to say I found the metabones ultra and mark IV are way better in my experience than the Commlite. But if you can flock it, maybe it will improve
