-Can Someone Please Upload A 60i-24p Conversion Clip??-

Because of the recent possible non-existence of a DVX100a for $2,899 by the time I'll be able to afford the camera, I don't have the time to save up for a DVX100b so I'm considering alternatives right now but the main reason I wanted the DVX was for the 24 frames per second and I can't find any conversion clips of 60i to 24p, so I was wondering if someone could upload an example, maybe a 5-10 second clip of converted footage for me??

I don't have any uploaded right at this second, but your conversion from 60i to 24p will depend largely on what method you do it - the better the method the longer it will take. There was a review on this some time ago, you can check it out, I think there was footage with it as well, up in the reviews section of the forums.

I'll look for the review but Ebay and any other buying a used is out of the question, too many worries and horror stories and I want the camera I get to be brand new, I had a projection date of Nov. 1st to purchase it, but something happened and now it looks like I won't have the money for a DVX100a til about December and I'm pretty sure the B version will be released before that.......

The "B" may or may not be released before then, that remains to be seen -- however, keep in mind that when the DVX100A was released, some stores still had stock on the DVX100 for a while thereafter. I think B&H still had original DVX100s for as long as three or four months after the 100A was released. So it depends on how much stock they have on hand by the time the 100B gets released.
