GH2 Can someone please help me restore to original firmware?

I've searched this board for answers, and despite finding a number of threads about it, I am still having problems. All I get when I put the freshly downloaded 1.1 firmware into the camera and press the play button is the "No Valid Picture" error message. I think I might need a really slow step by step on how to do this, so if any of you can help it would be greatly appreciated.

You have to load the 1.1 Firmware into PTool and save it without adding any patches, then restore to that.

Check the threads, but I think the only thing you need checked is 'version increment'. Other than that, leave every box unchecked.

When I load it into PTool, some of the letter buttons are different colors (implying there are still patches in there). Isn't that a problem?

Why can't you just delete the .ini files in the folder that ptool is in?

Quick question - do I always need to use PTools going forward to apply non-hacked firmware? Like the OP I too reverted back to the 1.1 firmware using PTools after reading this thread, but I was just wondering if I always need to go the Ptools route for newly released firmware from Panasonic. Thanks!
