can someone help me set timecode

hello to all

I am having timecode breaks when uploading batch to FCP can someone tell me how i can aviod this problem this is starting to be continous. Am I doing something wrong here

Are you reviewing footage as you shoot? You could be starting to record your next shot a few frames after your last shot, thereby confusing the camera and forcing it to go back to zero. If you absolutely must review footage on set/location, shot a couple of seconds of black before you rewind the tape. After you have reviewed your footage, make sure the tape is at this black section and not after so the camera can pick up the time code again.

To correct tapes with lots of bad timecode errors, you can dupe the original to another tape and the dupe should have continuous time code.

Heres my process. Record bars on tape header, hit end search. Record. When theres a cut keep recording and switch bars and let it record for a few seconds. Stop. Hit end search. And repeat. Never had a timecode break.
