Are you sure she didn't hit the WB setting while shooting by mistake?
From the looks of it it seems like she shifted from her custom setting to a 3200K preset.
The camera is awfully tiny - I know I've hit buttons on it by mistake before.

That would be my first guess anyhow - doesn't look like an auto WB issue because the color seems to stay constant other than the one very noticable shift.

It is a possibility. All the buttons are at default. Off hand would you know which button that is? She loves to use the custom white balance...I love the AWB. :) Guess we know who the real camera person in the family is. haha

btw. Thank you for the prompt reply.

If I recall correctly (don't have the HMC40 with me right now) the same WB button is used to set the Custom WB as well as to toggle through the 5600K and 3600K presets.
It's near the front/bottom of the camera if I'm remembering it right.

haha. I just told her....her reply was. "NOPE I didn't"

Figured as much. :)
It was the most obvious thing to mention though.

But was the rest of the footage like that?
I assume it stayed that way for the duration of that clip but what about the next clip she shot?

Actually there were about almost 200 clips. clips 17# to #28 were like that then it stopped. Then around #118 it was like that just for 3 clips then it was gone. Beats me.

That's very strange.
Though I have to say, if it happened in runs like that then it really makes me think it would be a camera setting causing the issue - not just a random malfunction.
And white balance seems to be the most obvious choice.

Maybe someone else will chime in with an idea.
