Can someone explain SKEW to me?

A few have mentioned this issue when speaking of a negative thing concerning the 300, but what is it exactly? What is SKEW? Is it distortion? Is it a bit of a blur?

excellent video thank you. This SKEW issue, in my opinion, has been blown way out of proportion. Firstly it can be avoided, and secondly it isn't so noticable where it takes away from a scene. It can add an artistic touch at times.

Couldn't agree with you more. But then, saying that in this forum is a bit like preaching to the choir since many of us are 300 owners/users.
