I need a measurement of the LCD screen on the DVX-100. I know it's 3.5", however, I don't know if that measurement includes the border around it. Can someone take a quick measurement of the inside diameter of the screen for me? Length and width.

It would be greatly appreciated.

Whenever you see a screen measurement... even when you're buying a TV at Best Buy or Circuit City, it refers to the diagonal measurement of the actual viewing screen.

The 3.5" spec for the DVX is no different. It's 3.5" from top-right corner to bottom-left (or from top-left to bottom-right, whatever) of the LCD display, not including any of the plastic housing around it.
 
Yeah I know it's measured diagonally, but that worked out to almost a perfect square it just didn't seem right, that's why I thought the 3.5" was including the housing. Anyways, I re-measured and I got it right, works out to 57mm (w) by 69mm (l).
