Can Original HVX200 be upgraded to 200A?

I shoot a lot of wildlife footage and one of my biggest frustrations was the poor low light performance of my HVX-200 and the associated noise.

I am very interested in the new sensors but I don't want to throw away my 5k investment in the original HVX. Can the camera be upgraded to the new sensors by the factory or an authorized service center? Or am I SOL?

There are basically just 2 parts that are different on the 200a. The CCD & the camera CBA. Of course you would need the jigs & software to perform the adjustments, which only the authorized service centers have. They would never do the upgrade. Panasonic wants you buy new product, not upgrade your old. They would never make any money that way.
