Did you try other files? Perhaps the one you tried is corrupted

Are you able to import them in Premiere?

Maybe try uninstall/reinstall AE

Hi there:
Don't worry!
It's my pleasure to help u.
After using many AVCHD converters, I find that Pavtube AVCHD Converter is the best one to use. With it, u can import AVCHD file to any editing software such as Sony Vegas or Movie Maker. Also, you can convert AVCHD files to other regular video formats for watching or sharing via some portable players such as iPod, PSP, PS3, CS3, CS4 and etc.
I hope it will works for u guys!

Everything is ok!
