GH4 Can I use any Canon glass on GH4 w/dummy adapter?

Want to pick up some old glass (meaning cheap for a GH 4. I have a dummy Canon EF adapter and interested in this Tokina 28-135mm F4-F4.6 lens: http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/pho/5043176399.html

Would this work? For the price I might just try it.

That Tokina looks like it is probably a Canon FD mount lens (used with older Canon film cameras). So while it won't be compatible with a Canon EF adapter, you can get an FD mount to Micro 4/3 adapter to use that lens on your GH4 (or other micro 4/3 cameras).

Since the older FD mount lenses are not directly compatible with modern Canon EF mount cameras, you can sometimes find good deals on FD mount lenses.

Went ahead and picked up a FD to m4/3 adapter. Will see how it looks with this lens.

there are lots of cheap FD mounts around - the best cost about $50 from some polish guy on ebay - I have a stack of FD lenses with adaptors on each - great glass, great price
