Can HVX200s sold in America play back PAL mini-DVs?

Hey all,
I have a client who just handed me a box of mini-DV tapes recorded in the PAL format.
I have an associate I'd like to contract with who has a HVX200 (bought in the US market). I know the HVX200s record to PAL on the P2 cards, but can the same camera play back PAL mini-DVs?
I'm just trying to get these into Final Cut Pro in a form I can edit.
Does anyone have hands on with an HVX200 that can answer?
 
The HVX200 does not record or playback PAL format. That would be an HVX201AE sold in Europe or another 200 variant model number sold elsewhere like Australia or Asia. I see a dub facility with conversion capabilities and a big bill in your future.

As Dan said, the HVX that plays pal is the HVX200E, HVX202EN, or HVX202AE or similar models. The HVX200 and HVX200A sold in the USA/Japan do not play PAL.
