Can FS7 take stills?

[GrumpyOrang]

This may be a stupid question but, can the FS7 take stills?

I haven't been able to find any option in the menu regarding stills, or anything online talking about taking stills with the FS7. I only ask because a Producer seem to be under the impression that they can, and that their last cameraman was taking stills (and then deleted them or something).

Anyone know?

No

Perhaps the other cameraman was just giving the producer frame grabs from the 4K footage?

Some SmallHD monitors can capture stills. Used this feature last week to show the Director various framing.

Wouldn't be surprised if other brands have a similar function. All should.

those monitors really keep getting better and better... they used to be a no-name cheapo brand but have quickly begun offering amazing features.
